    No — students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at Saint Malachy Catholic School! As a Catholic school, each student will be expected to participate in daily prayer and religious education. Monthly mass will be celebrated with students and teachers, and all family members are invited to attend.

  • Do you offer financial assistance?

  • Do you offer bus service?

    No, bus service is not offered.

  • Are SEPTA Transpasses available to students?

    Transpasses are available to 7th and 8th graders who live more than 1.5 miles away and qualify through the School District of Philadelphia Department of Transportation.

  • Do you offer before and after care?

    Yes, care is available daily. For additional information, contact the school office.

  • Do you offer a lunch program?

    Yes, breakfast and lunch are provided daily for all students free of charge.

  • Can I pay my tuition in cash?

    Yes, but cash payments cannot be accepted in the school or church office. If you would like to pay in cash, contact the school office for a list of locations.

  • How many students are in each class?

    The maximum classroom size is 25 students.

  • How old does my child need to be for Kindergarten?

    Students must be 5-years-old before September 1.

  • When will I find out if we have received financial aid?

    As an Independence Mission School, we strive to deliver a high-quality education for an affordable price. All students must be enrolled and accepted before a decision on financial aid will be made.
